Kids these days

I danced with Chris, ex-president of the ballroom dance club, this evening. She’s working towards becoming a teacher, and is currently helping out in a kindergarten classroom.

Some of those kindergarteners were drawing fan-art for Five Nights at Freddy’s, and one bit her hard enough to break skin when she took away their drawings.

The biting, enh. But Five Nights at Freddy’s?

My brother dressed up as Foxy for a Comic-con, and said that it was very well received by the young children there, who all wanted their pictures taken with him. He also thought they shouldn’t have been the ones to recognize characters from Five Nights at Freddy’s. Luckily he shared this with me, or I would have no idea what our foster son was talking about when he repeatedly draws pictures of Freddy to give away to friends at school and church.

So this seems to be more widespread than I would have guessed. Is this the wedge issue that finally condemns me to being a crotchety old man?

Recent Steam reviews claim the fanbase of 12-year-olds is scarier than the game itself. That’s… great.
