That building on the right has gone up in the eight months since I stood at that spot. Impressive.
[The cross-hatch on my photo, if you’re curious, indicates that it was taken from the second floor of the Mister Donut across the street. Apparently Shingo doesn’t value tasty donuts as much as I do.]
What’s scary is that I’ve sat in that same exact spot, and would have taken a photo myself if it weren’t for the crosshatch in the window.
I dunno, I feel that the safety wire in the window makes the picture even BETTER. Why? Because it visually contains the explosive energy of the “Is Akiba Burning?” sign, which might otherwise blow viewers’ minds.
