I am a pending statistic. Looks like my ol’ credit card number has been stolen (probably from Monoprice, given the warning on their front page)… now I’m just waiting for the charge from TMA*AFFILNAME,GAMENAME to post so that I can call my credit card company and report it as fraud.
Ugh.
UPDATE: That particular pending charge fell off without getting posted, but now I have six-some $1.00 iTunes charges that I didn’t make that are pending. And, new as of a few minutes ago, a $63 and change iTunes charge pending.
Not sure why my credit card company wants to wait until a thing posts for sure to cancel my card, but… whatever. (T_T)
Yo! Found your page by googling tma afilname gamename! Weird! Husband was checking in on our bank account and found a charge under that name along with 3 others totalling close to $400!!!…all related to gaming!!! Called bank cancelled card! Bummer….inconvenient for sure! anyhoo…we recently purchased a few items online from no other than….MONOPRICE!!! Coinkydink? Ya think??? I think not! Guess we will start using paypal or something! So glad I found your page! Gonna give the bank this info tomorrow maybe they have more resources and can investigate this further! Would be nice to know exactly what happened!

The fraudulent charge that finally posted to my account (as of this evening, with a boatload more still pending) wound up being from ITUNES-USD, in Luxembourg (?!). I found the related foreign exchange fee a nice bonus. (Seriously… who steals a credit card to buy *music* online?)
Gotta call some companies that will want to legitimately bill my credit card, tomorrow. Looking forward to this extra work…
